Clowning Around

Clowning Around

Clowns. Back in 2016/2017 we literally couldn’t get enough of them. With the remake of Stephen King’s IT taking the nation by it red squeaking nose, 2017 started the strangest epidemic of the 21st century…. the great clown epidemic. We covered this on the podcast all through the fall of 2016 and again in 2017 as did pretty much every major media outlet. We even took it one step further and crafted the only comprehensive clown sightings map of the US and Canada. With a pin placed for every clown sighting, the map quickly filled up and scary clowns in the woods became a more terrifying reality than one ever would have guessed.

This wasn’t the only time in the 21st century that clowns took the spotlight. In 2009 the world was introduced to Charlie Da Clown. Created by the Granger Brothers Matt and Mike, The Charlie Da Clown Show is truly a bizarre and indisputably hilarious late night talk show spoof. Will Farrell’s Funny or Die has been home to The Charlie Da Clown Show for the past decade and only recently have the Granger Brothers decided to dip their clown shoes back into the clown lake and test the waters. We got the unofficial scoop that The Charlie Da Clown show may be resurrected straight from the clown horses mouth. You guessed right, on this weeks episode of the Lost At Home Podcast we chat with Matt Granger and clown around twisting his original content The Charlie Da Clown Show into our own twisted sitcom “Charlie: D.A. Clown”. For anyone who hasn’t seen Charlie Da Clown check it out below and make sure to get lost!
